2 new life goals for every Indian female.

by Namrata Sekhani on Jan 02, 2024

Goal No. 1

You’ll be buying the house from your own earned money. The house in which you would love to live & flourish. You won’t seek money from your father, husband, father-in-law, or anyone else. You’ll earn your own money to buy it. Start working on it.

Goal No. 2

You’ll buy the 1st car or the nth car you wish to drive in your lifetime with your own money. You won’t seek money from your father, husband, father-in-law, or anyone else. You’ll earn your own money to buy it. Start working on it.

We at Doobidoo believe that Indian women should be self-sufficient, and should be able to make their own money – for themselves, for their household and for the GDP of our country.

Now, in order to achieve Goals No. 1 & 2, you need to do the reverse calculation. What skill & knowledge would you require to get a job that can help you earn that kind of money? Figure it out and start working towards it. No more time wastage. No more dependency on others.

There cannot be a greater goal in life than these.

Your marriage cannot be a life goal.

Your D-day of the marriage cannot be a life goal.

Delivering your kids cannot be a life goal.

You looking beautiful cannot be a life goal.

You looking slim & trim cannot be a life goal.

The life goal is the one which can make you not only self-sustained but rather excel than your peers & family members. Ships are not made to be kept at bay. Automobiles are created to be stored in a garage. You’re humans, who have toiled hard to get through schools & colleges and to get those degrees. You’ve weathered the monthly cycle to reach here where you’re today, don’t let your entire life’s learning go to waste. Start working. Start making money.

The difficult situation we are in

With ~140 Cr population in our country, the male-female ratio is roughly 50:50 (The kind of exact bifurcation is 52:48). i.e. We’ve ~70 Cr females. Out of these only ~5-6 Cr females make some kind of money for themselves, for their families and in turn contribute towards the GDP of our country. i.e., balance ~64-65 Cr females are sitting idle under the disguise of managing the house. Managing the house is the job of both Husband & Wife and similarly making money is the job of both Husband & Wife. Women participation in India Inc. is thus only ~8-10%.

For China, women's participation in the workforce is roughly ~70%. i.e., 70% of their workable females work day-in and day-out, thereby killing it financially.

You cannot grow, your family cannot grow, our society cannot grow, and our country’s GDP cannot grow if the females of our country don’t grow financially. Period.

The skills thus far you have acquired cannot go to waste.

The time you spent in school learning tons of theorems & formulae should come to fruition.

There is some opportunity available for you, somewhere. Find it, excel at it.
